David Mills

Managing Director

I started Apollo way back in 1993 and my main focus is ensuring we continue to grow by delivering exceptional customer service. In my spare time I love to travel, particularly in South America; I am a huge Bruce Springsteen fan and I go to several shows per tour, and I regularly watch Nottingham Forest and Notts Cricket.

Matt Ireland

Compliance Manager

I’ve been with Apollo since 2008, starting off part time while at University and working up to my current role of Compliance Manager, which I enjoy for the varied and unique challenges that it offers. In my spare time when I’m not entertaining my son, I can usually be found walking or doing a geeky activity like gaming or D&D with family and friends.

Business Development Manager

I’ve been with Apollo since 2015 and really enjoy my role managing our existing clients and building relationships with new ones. Each day is busy and varied and every week presents new challenges. In my spare time when I’m not acting as a taxi-driver for my kids, I can usually be found watching Sheffield United play, on the golf course, or out walking in the Peak District with my family and our toy-cockapoo Willow.

I am very passionate about vans and moving things from place to place. My Apollo journey started in April – 2016 and I love my job! In my spare time I like to watch vans, motorbikes, cars and records going round and round.

Amy

I Joined the team at apollo in 2021 and I enjoy my role within the logistics team, working with many varied customers and business across the UK. Every day is different, with many new challenges which helps make my role within the business so enjoyable. In my spare time I like spending time with my family, friends and my two Siamese cats, Ave and Wilson. When I’m not being ruled by my cats I also have a keen interest in motor sport, both watching and participating in racing events and many track days.

Bjorn

My life at Apollo started in 2021. I have a little bit of a hybrid role where day to day I get stuck in with the team on the logistics side of things talking to customers and drivers daily. On days when I’m not in the office you can find me out on the road making deliveries in one of the apollo vans. In my spare time I love to watch and take part in sports, on the odd occasion I go and watch the mighty Toon Army and can even be seen in the cricket terraces watching the odd T20 cricket match. Most weekends are spent with my family either out walking in the countryside, at a park or watching some kind of crime drama/thriller.
